Υπόθεση:

Plot: A tedious rural love triangle. Self indulgent pap. Agonisingly slow (a six minute shot of the sun rising?) It would be quicker to watch the real thing. No wonder it's 140 minutes long. It's like Grant Wood's painting, 'American Gothic' - only less animated...or interesting. At least Wood's farmer had a pitch fork. Not sure what Carlos Reygadas wanted me to feel. If it was 'annoyed' then his goal was achieved. Boring. Pretentious. God awful. On a positive note it's beautifully shot. There's no writhing Hollywood backsides. No car chases and no explosions. Unfortunately there was also 'No' plot and no point. You will never get those 140 minutes back. Hmmm.
